Terms of use
The terms for using sparsitydata.com and Sparsity Analyst.
Who we are
sparsitydata.com is run by Sparsity Data LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“Sparsity”, “we”). You can write to us at support@sparsitydata.com.
These terms apply when you use the site, make an account or subscribe to Sparsity Analyst, and by doing any of those you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
What Sparsity is
Sparsity publishes onchain research on crypto coins. Some of it is free to read, such as the holder strength index and the bottoming test. Sparsity Analyst, a paid subscription, adds every research piece in full, alerts on Telegram for the coins you pick, and each coin's full dashboard.
Not advice
Sparsity describes what wallets and markets do onchain. Nothing on the site, in an alert or in a research piece is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. Crypto is risky, and you can lose all the money you put in. What you do with what you read here is your decision.
The service as it is
We read the chains once a day, and our readings can be wrong, late or missing: a data source can fail, a day can be published hours late, and an alert can arrive late or not at all. We fix mistakes when we find them, but we can't promise that the site or its data is accurate, complete or always available. To the extent the law allows, we provide the service as it is and as available, without warranties of any kind.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses that come from using or relying on the site, its data or its alerts, including trading losses, lost profits and lost data. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid for Sparsity Analyst in the 12 months before it. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Your account
- You need to be at least 18 to make an account.
- One account per person, used by you alone. Don't share it, and don't pass on in full what Sparsity Analyst shows you.
- You sign in with a code sent to your email, or with Google, so keep that account safe. You're responsible for what's done with your Sparsity account.
- You can delete your account at any time on your account page.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
Using our data
The site's text, charts, scores, readings and design are ours. You're welcome to read them, link to them, and share a screenshot or a short quote that names Sparsity. Without our written permission, please don't:
- scrape the site or copy its data in bulk, by hand or with a program;
- resell the data, or build a product, dataset or model from it;
- get around the paywall or the sign-in, or try to reach anyone else's account;
- overload or attack the site.
Buying Sparsity Analyst
Sparsity Analyst is sold through Link, the Stripe service that acts as the seller for us (its legal name is Sold Through Link, LLC). When you subscribe, you buy from Link, and Link's terms of sale apply to the payment: the Sold Through Link Terms, in Stripe's consumer terms. Link takes the payment, works out and collects any tax, sends your receipts and invoices, and handles payment questions, refunds and disputes. These terms cover the service itself.
- Price: $49.99 a month, tax included, paid in advance for each month, counted from the day your subscription starts (or from the end of a free month). Link may show and charge it in your own currency.
- Free month: while we offer it, a first subscription starts with 30 days free, and your account page and checkout say whether yours does. Checkout still takes a payment method, which is charged on day 31 unless you cancel before then. One free month per account, and only for an account that has never had a subscription.
- Renewal: it renews each month until you cancel. Cancel any time in Manage billing on your account page: Sparsity Analyst stays on until the end of the period you paid for, and you aren't charged again. Cancelling and refunds has the rest.
- Failed payments: if a renewal doesn't go through, Stripe tries again and Sparsity Analyst stays on meanwhile. If the payment can't be taken, the subscription ends.
- Deleting your account cancels the subscription at once.
Changes
We may change the site and Sparsity Analyst, add or remove features, or stop offering part of them. We may also change these terms, and the date at the top says when they last changed. For a change that affects subscribers, such as a new price, less included or new terms, we email them before it takes effect, and at least 30 days before a new price, which then applies from the next renewal. If you don't accept a change, you can cancel before it applies. Using the site after a change means you accept it.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, and disputes about them are heard in the state or federal courts in Delaware. If you use Sparsity as a consumer, you keep the protections the law where you live gives you, and these terms don't take them away.
